GLIN Posted March 2, 2018 Share Posted March 2, 2018 Piping plover nests were found on the shores of all five Great Lakes last year for the first time since 1955, according to the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service. The shore-dwelling bird disappeared from most of the Great Lakes in the 1980s and was listed as endangered in 1986. Read the full story by Record Eagle.
