In Wisconsin, four friends endeavored to trek across the frozen Green Bay on Saturday, walking some 15 miles across the ice and through the snow to Menominee. Their hope was to shed light on the proximity of the two locales to the proposed Back Forty Mine project and the potential for it to pollute the Menominee River and the bay.
