FishingFry23 Posted February 12, 2018 Posted February 12, 2018 I have not been to Lake Erie in YEARS so I am not even sure where the best spots are. I would like to know though if there is a good time for fishing, specifically. Is it best to go early morning, mid-afternoon, evening, etc? What would you recommend?
one&done Posted February 15, 2018 Posted February 15, 2018 My experience is yes, yes and yes. I have found all times to be successful. Morning can be great with the wind at its lowest point of the day. Afternoon can be good based on the hot bite and where to go. "Look for the boat traffic". And finally the night bite is very productive on the reefs as the fish will be in shallower water with almost non existent boat interference.
