coralee Posted February 10, 2018 Posted February 10, 2018 Time to start getting things ready. I must have had at least 3 divers break where the arm snaps in on Deeper Divers. Any one else have this and wondering if you like your divers and they hold up what kind you use?
BlueEye Posted February 11, 2018 Posted February 11, 2018 Chinook divers are becoming more popular recently on Lake Ontario. They are made of metal so less likely to break - they also cut through the water nicely IMO. https://chinookdiver.com/ 1
RedRider Posted February 11, 2018 Posted February 11, 2018 Sorry to say the clear ones for some reason had a habit of breaking from what I have heard from others. Never saw that with a green or orange one. 1
Dr Hook Posted February 11, 2018 Posted February 11, 2018 Looks like the plastic is too brittle for the tension screw. I've used Luhr Jensen Dipsey divers and never had a problem 1
Net Breaker Posted February 11, 2018 Posted February 11, 2018 yes the clear ones break. i also have had the weight break off when never touching bottom. i like the clear ones. i just keep extras. i am hoping the clear dream weaver divers are better 1
