GLIN Posted February 8, 2018 Share Posted February 8, 2018 The drop in Flint, Michigan reading proficiency can may be partially attributable to higher standards and a new, more difficult exam, but Michigan Superintendent of Education says that doesn’t explain it all, and that some of the drop could be due to lead poisoning and stress from the ongoing water crisis.
