au gres 24 fish limit 7-5

Just want to start this post by thanking captain Mike Viene for his information at dock this morning. I found myself on the wrong side of the lake this morning but it did not matter cause the walleye fishing is RED HOTTT EVERYWHERE. Stayed in Tawas city Tuesday night for the 4th since one of my good friends did the fireworks show and had extra cabins rented for the week. We made a 10 mile run out of the au gres river to the south where we set up in 28 to 32 fow dragging 3 oz bouncers 50 to 65 off the boards at 1.4 to 1.6 blue and white harnesses seemed to be the best. h Had a good mix of eaters and also a handful of nice 4 to 5 pounders. This Is the first time that I've fished au gres in 5 or six years and I was not disappointed. A lot of boats in the area that we were fishing and we also marked a ton of fish in the bottom 7 fow with lots of bait clouds as well. Back to the east side for the rest of the trolling season I will be caseville to grindstone I'll keep everyone pposted.
