Talk about fleas, I ran into them today and had a heck of a time getting them off my line. Is there a easy way to remove them. Thanks

Best way is to smack the line across top of water. Than what's left make a half loup in line and pinch the rest off.

U can use Cortland flea flicker line!

Not a joke; Cortland sells and oval diameter line that fleas cannot attach to. Used it for years up in Manistee!

Cortland stopped making around 2015 I do believe

That's to bad because I'd change all my reels over to it if it ment I could get rid of those Darn Fleas

That is exactly why I run 30lb big game.  My riggers are almost always one of my more active setups so I don't think the larger line has any ill effects on bites.

I'm running 20lbs. test. We went out 7/03 and it was terrible, then we went back out the 4th and the Fleas weren't to bad but the Flys tore us apart

Bloodrun also makes a flea free line.  Fleas seem to cling to it more than the Cortland Flea Flicker I've used in the past, but they come off the line easier.

I run 25# on all my reels and rarely have an issue with fleas
