SharkFin Posted May 29, 2017 Posted May 29, 2017 9/14 today out of Whitehall with a strong start but bite seemed to slow after 9am. Best depth was 120-140FOW E/W troll 2.8 gps. Everything fired at one point or another from 5 color to a rigger at 88', no real pattern. Best bait was a 11" white paddle and homemade white fly (glow/ UV). Lots of 1-2yr old Kings with the occasional 3yr old. Have the 3-4yr old Kings moved North? Regardless another great trip. This was the first trip of the year we haven't limited out. Hopefully the fishing stays good. Anybody have any luck fishing the slicks out deep? Stealhead should start showing up in good numbers soon. Good luck to all and keep the reports coming!
