bradb
Okuma cv55 vs daiwa slw60h Anyone have experience with the daiwa slw60h? I'd like to try one because of the 6.1:1 retrieve as opposed to the 4:1 of my cv55's. The overall build quality of the daiwa seems inferior though, anyone use them. I know they're fairly new but someone must have some time with them.
coralee
Contact Tuna Tom's in Ludington and see if they still offer the convectors. They had them in the 6:1 retrieve plus upgraded to the dragmaster carbon fiber drag system and they are silky smooth. Great outfit.
Legacy
If you like your Okumas... Okuma now offers a Convector 55LS that is 6.2:1 and also a Cold Water 553LS that is 4.7:1.
jmohunts
Used a slw60 last season for 300', 45lb weighted Steel with close to 1000' 19 strand backing . Worked perfectly and I put it to good test pulling Tx44's . Thinking of buying another.Sent from my XT1254 using Tapatalk
