Skunk.  Fished the skinny water for an hour with nothing.  We then ran to 100 fow.  Trolled several directions 100 to 245 fow and back into 160 fow.  Nothing. Very few marks.

You might think so, but I'll fish as late into the year as the launches allow.  If we could just get the water temps to drop below 50 degrees the skinny water should start producing well.

It was tuff fishin' for sure but I still had a good time with my brother JD and Truman. First time skunk for me since I got back into Big Lake fishing(like 4 seasons) but it sure wasn't for lack of effort. Don't usually get out this late in the season so I wasn't to disappointed, to get out at all is a blessing! Weather was fantastic, waves were taller than predicted. Docks are still in, out house is open, Big lot/cleaning station closed!  Maybe a trip or two left ??????????
