Gezellig Posted August 1, 2016 Posted August 1, 2016 Set up in 90 fow and headed northwest. Marked tons of fish in the upper 40' but could get a hit to save our butts. We got out to 125 fow and the high diver back 180 with a green spinny / green fly ripped off. Landed a decent size king. Stuck around 125 for another hour marking fish but no takers. Decided to head straight west to see what we see. Pulled in a little laker while changing gear on low diver green / yellow meat rig. No idea how long he had been on but was full of water and dead.... Poor fella drowned. We made our way out to 190 and took another laker along with marking fish again. Kept heading west, got out to 240 and the graph was barren. Headed back to 190 and picked up another laker in 200. Started heading south and finished the 11:00 bite off with a double. Steelhead and another laker. Speed was 2.5 at the ball and greens along with oranges were the ticket today.Sent from my iPhone using Great Lakes Fisherman Mobile App 3
