dan agnello Posted June 29, 2016 Posted June 29, 2016 Time fished: 8-130 Area fished (GPS lat/lons 0ptional): south to a little north of piers Best depth of water to be over: 106 Most productive troll direction: E Depth of hits: 50 Rigger lead lengths: 20' Number of fishermen aboard: 3 Best lures & colors: purple/grey/silver thin spoon Surface temp: Down temp for hits (if known): 62-66 Troll speed: 2-3 Number and kind of fish caught: 1 Steelie; 10lb 11 ounces Reel commentary: There were a few boats fishing piers but we decided to go out deeper. Fished 70-170 straight out and no hits; we did have 3 knock offs on riggers probably sliders that didn't hook up. Had just switched to that grey/pur/sil spoon on main and slider and the steelie hit main hard. Thought it was only 8-9 pounds, but my digital scale said almost eleven; it was a fat steelhead. Usually they are long and lanky. Lot of fleas in the water and we marked a lot of flea clouds near the top. Very few marks and no laker marks for us to bounce the bottom, but a gorgeous day on Lac Mich "Hockey Puck" ON THE REEL WOMAN Agnello Browns Kings 2 Coho 15 Lakers 5 Steelies 1 Walleye Sheephead White Bass Perch
