Bubblehead Posted June 15, 2016 Posted June 15, 2016 Time: 6:00 PM - 10:00 PM Hit/Caught: 0 for 0 FOW: Started setting at 90 with a west troll to 130, maneuvered back east and came to 70 looking for lakers. SOG: 2.5 - 2.9 Water temp at ball: 60 down @ 48 F What depth your baits were down or set up used. Riggers set at 60 and 80, both with stackers at half distance. Ran two dipsy and two long lines. When we came in shallow, we dropped the balls on the bottom and bounced. Baits your caught the fish on: Tried meat rigs, every fly color made, and every spoon color available Direction of troll: All over Wave conditions: mild rollers when we started, turned to glass around 9:00 PM Talked to a few guys pier side when we returned, they struck out as well, they were deep (270 ft) running 70 down on the riggers. Seemed to be an overall slow night. Didn't meet a fisherman that actually caught a fish tonight. That's the way it goes sometimes. 1
jdh Posted June 15, 2016 Posted June 15, 2016 Thanks for the report. Sounds like June fishing to me...
FBD Posted June 15, 2016 Posted June 15, 2016 Appreciate the detail and honesty. Happy to get the one steel we stumbled into on the beach Saturday.
