Slide Diver Ultimate Accessory Kit

I finally installed the 7oz weights with the mag rings on my wire divers.  I know they have been around for a while so I’m looking for pro/cons on this application, other than upgrading my rods.  Do they really accomplish the 2 to 1 dive ratio?

I have never fished slide divers w/o the mag ring & weight. The 2 to 1 ratio is pretty accurate. You can fish the bottom in some deep water.

 

The only thing I don't like about the slide divers is the inability to take them off the rod during travel.

Do you guys happen to know if a depth chart has been created for the Ultimate Weight Kit and Ring?  I am looking for depth with settings out to 6.

The question that I have for everyone, is what is the "slowest" speed that you can troll with a slide diver?

I am out with the magnum slide diver right now. 1.4 at the ball. 167 Fow, slide diver set on “5”. No problems.
