KICK'R Posted April 26, 2016 Posted April 26, 2016 We fished the HOOSIER COHO CLUB PRO/AM TOURNAMENT this weekend. We decided to fish on the PRO side and we ended up 12th out of 20 boats. The tournament got delayed due to the weather not sure if it hurt or helped us other than losing an hour of fishing time. We ran west and fished 40-55fow we ended up with 6 lake trout but just didn't have any real big ones but they were all decent fish. On Sunday the girlfriend and I decided to do some searching we ran out to 150 fow and trolled northeast to 220 fow and trolled around out there for a little while we picked up 2 lake trout then decided to head shallower. We set back up it 80 fow and trolled to 60 fow and stayed in 60-65 fow looking for silvers and ended up with 2 more lake trout. The weather turned out great both days and we are getting excited for the first big tournament of the year the HOOSIER COHO CLUB CLASSIC this weekend! 1
EdB Posted April 26, 2016 Posted April 26, 2016 Thanks for the report, did anyone find any kings in the tourney? 1
EdB Posted April 26, 2016 Posted April 26, 2016 Bummer on that but it's still early. Regardless, based on all the 2 year olds we did not catch last year, looks like we are in for a repeat of last year's king fishery. Sent from my SM-G920V using Great Lakes Fisherman Mobile App 1
