KICK'R Posted April 19, 2016 Posted April 19, 2016 Well after getting the boat rigged and ready to go it was time to do some pre fishing Friday after work for a few hours. After working out a few bugs in the boat we got to go fishing we only had lines in the water for about an hour before the sun set and we didn't have a bite fishing in front of pier heads. On Saturday we made the decision to head off shore and it payed off we ended up going 9-10 all coho and it was good enough to take 4th place in the Buffalo Bill Tournament. We were pleased with that especially being our first tournament in the new boat. Michigan Stinger spoons and Shasta Tackle sling blades with small coho flies on downriggers and Church Tackle boards with Morgans copper did the damage. We are fishing the upcoming Hoosier Coho Club Pro/Am this weekend and we are looking for similar or better results! We also did fish Sunday at first in front of the pier heads in Michigan City with no action then we decided to head up to New Buffalo and finally got into some fish which were all lake trout and definitely kept us busy! Here are some pictures enjoy!
