littleboat Posted March 27, 2016 Posted March 27, 2016 Got out for a bit of a shakedown cruise. Caught 5.26# laker north of the harbor in 18ft. Water was 39 degrees. Got it with a red top/gold bottom thinfish with a 2 color. New boat ran great. I was able to take a friends grandson out for his first time fishing. He was excited. He is taking the fish to grandmas for Easter. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G900A using Great Lakes Fisherman Mobile App 2
Fish Tank Posted March 27, 2016 Posted March 27, 2016 Nice Ed - remind me again about your new boat. The main outboard looks like a beast from the pic. thanks................Fish Tank
littleboat Posted March 28, 2016 Author Posted March 28, 2016 I picked it up last fall. It's a 2012 Trophy 2102. 150hp fuel injected 4 cycle and 20 hp carburetor 4 cycle. Really easy on gas. 20 hp makes a great trolling motor. I installed new hyd autopilot, fishawk and fishfinder. Also all the downriggers and traxtech equipment. It's nice and warm on these early cold days. I still have my littleboat for jigging, small lakes and rivers. Now I can go out where it might have been a little less than idea for a smaller boat. The engines had less than 25 hours on them. Still under warranty. 1
