westwind Posted October 6, 2015 Posted October 6, 2015 Anybody have any info on steelhead up at Whitehall lately? Thinking about going out Wednesday (10/7). Thoughts
Fishrmac Posted October 6, 2015 Posted October 6, 2015 There were quite a few pushes of fish through and with the temp change I think pier trolling is the way to go. I want to go but work and family activities are blocking the boat time. Hopefully next week
Far Beyond Driven Posted October 6, 2015 Posted October 6, 2015 Pier might be good. Jerry Lee Mimi streaks on one color cores and j 11 rapalas 100' off yellowbirds might work. Trolling a bit faster than normal could help.
westwind Posted October 8, 2015 Author Posted October 8, 2015 Ended up only 1 for 2, both smaller steelies 3-4 pounds. First hit at 50 FOW on moonshine double trouble and the other on stinger pinky. Didn't hear of anyone hitting them hard, nobody around the piers.
