littleboat Posted August 27, 2015 Posted August 27, 2015 Fished 7-12:30pm 1 for 2 with my one being a channel cat in 115 fow on a 225 copper with a camel spoon. Second hit was on same spoon but he spit it out, both on north troll, sog 2.1. Marks but no takers. Rigger and dipsy with plug and meat rigs batted "0".
Salmon_slammin Posted August 27, 2015 Posted August 27, 2015 First a carp, and then a catfish! What's next a sturgeon? Thanks for the report!
littleboat Posted August 27, 2015 Author Posted August 27, 2015 Good point. That is why I take pictures, no one would believe me. I'm afraid I'm going to net the gillman next!
Dr Hook Posted August 27, 2015 Posted August 27, 2015 I've heard more of these types of catches this year than any other. Wonder how the DNR would explain that, if it relates to decreased bait etc.
Gnarf Posted August 28, 2015 Posted August 28, 2015 Could be related to a lot of bait in that area? I've heard lots of ales in stomachs
