GLF Posted March 28, 2006 Posted March 28, 2006 I would like to know how many gallons of fuel/gas everyone went through in their boat last year. Please include the size of the boat and how big the motor(s) are. Also include the number of times the boat was used if possible.
CaptLevi Posted March 29, 2006 Posted March 29, 2006 I have a 32' with twin 350 Chevys. I ran about 120 total outings with an average usage of 50 or so gallons per......
Dv8oR Posted March 29, 2006 Posted March 29, 2006 Of all the stuff I log, this is not one, so a guesstimate is what I'll reply with. Hope this helps.....20' 4 Winns/4.3 185 Mercruiser 26 gallon tank.30 give or take outtings. 1/2 tank give or take every time.Is that what you meant?
Adjusted3 Posted March 30, 2006 Posted March 30, 2006 I never paid much attention to the gas. I get about 3 1/2 8 hr trips on one tank. This is with a 17' Lund and a 140 4 stroke. But, gas is the cheap part of the fishing. Filling the boat with gear and the boat itself is where the costs come in.Mark
