instincter06 Posted August 3, 2015 Posted August 3, 2015 Looks like the deeper water temps at the buoy just shot up. Any thoughts on if that will help the fishing?? I haven't made it out yet this year but have been hoping for a good August bite. Thanks
Dr Hook Posted August 3, 2015 Posted August 3, 2015 Should push the fish out deeper. Don't know it will help other than that since it had set up slightly for the past 1-2 weeks.
Gnarf Posted August 3, 2015 Posted August 3, 2015 Yeah a bit deeper my guess is 120 to 150 find the thermocline
sparky30 Posted August 3, 2015 Posted August 3, 2015 It will just make it a very deep bite for a while. Low divers way back, riggers and long coppers. Flys and meant normally shine when the break is that low. Wont stay this way for long though have north winds coming.
Far Beyond Driven Posted August 4, 2015 Posted August 4, 2015 Find where 50 degrees hits the bottom, go 10' deeper, and pound the bottom 10' with mag spoons, meat, and plugs. Best early and late.
