Sorry for the late report!!. Went 9-13. Fishin was on the slower side so we pulled lines at 10:00 and went to breakfast. Yellow meat rigs with fat nacy spin doctors worked well on deep coppers. Riggers 40-80 down all took fish with meat rigs and 200coppers with small plugs also took fish. It was nice to fish the rough water in a 43ft tiara though.

What depth and area were you fishing? I'm staying by Pentwater this week and hoping to take the kids out and get them on some fish.

We caught fish in 80-160fow. We also caught fish at the start of the dunes to the light house

Thank you for the report it helps a lot I am a part time fishermen in a 19 foot alumacraft that does not get to take the time to dial the hot bite so to be able to read where to start is awesome I went out about 1/2 mile on Saturday morning and just was not worth fighting the swells but am going to watch for the winds to die down and keep going until I put fish on the table I missed all of last year but ready to turn on the HOT BITE again thank you

Always good to hear you getting fish Blake. Mike said the lake is starting to layer up. Were you running a ProTroll? Did you find a temp break?

Mr Ron and I will be up in Ludington 8/18, 8/19 & 8/20. Hopefully the lake lays down enough that week.

Yeah there is a thermal down 50ft. Most of our fish are coming right out of that thermal or below it. Right now we are basically running all spin doctors plugs and meat.
