slickwater Posted July 31, 2015 Posted July 31, 2015 Would like your thoughts on where a school of steelhead might go. They were 4+ miles out over 200+ fow. This is on Lake Huron. Now a strong west wind has been blowing for a few days blowing the warm water out and bringing in the cold water near shore. Would the steelhead be in the same area as last week or would they be in closer or farther offshore?
gmfishon Posted August 1, 2015 Posted August 1, 2015 Likely in closer. Depends on how cold the water and any breaks and food.
SUPERTRAMP Posted August 1, 2015 Posted August 1, 2015 Water is too warm in close, Sports Widow Charters in ST JOE is doing well on Steelhead and Lakers in 120 to 150 Temp break at 55' down water temp is 46 degrees, He is catching Steelhead on spoons on 150 copper and 8 color setups lakers on the bottom.

Will assume you missed the lake h part.
