littleboat
Fished 6-11 I thought I was going to give my lures a good washing today. Very few marks. Did the 80-120 fow trip down to tunnel park, which was turning out to be very uneventful. Picked alot of weeds off my lures. Then as luck would have, some 6# plus size steelhead, decided to throw himself upon my hook. That was it, nothing afterwards. Good thing I took a previous blogger advice and sharpened my hooks. Thanks! With all that said, hit came at 8:54am, in 120 fow on a 200 copper (32#) with a mongolian beef spoon super glow 4", north troll, 2.7 sog, water temp 72. mrhookup
what brand of spoon is that? Is it one of Moonshine's casting spoons?
littleboat
It's a Moonshine 3.75" length spoon, but not a casting spoon. It is heavy. You would think it would be, because of the weight.

Fishrmac
Sharp hooks are awesome!! Everyone should sit with a 6 pack and just have a hook sharpening afternoon. I did and have about a 90% landing rate the last 2 years.
