Reel-Deal Posted July 25, 2015 Posted July 25, 2015 Took out a friend and his 2 boys for their first time fishing. Things picked up a bit from our trip 2 days earlier. Fished from 8 am - 2 pm and went 4/5 Fished a nice temp break straight out of harbor to about 2 miles north between 100-140 FOW 14# laker - 107 DR over 135 FOW - with white SD and lil' boy blue Howie fly 7# coho - 6# steelhead - 150' copper with orange crush 1 shaker king on 200' copper and blue dolphin mag spoon (was hoping to release him - but we dragged him around for a while and his face was really tore up) 1 - big rip on braided mag dipsey with blue dolphin fish catcher and blue chrome clean meat rig. The boys were thrilled - I love seeing newbies catch fish! Beautiful day on the water this past week!
