rehcuob
Ok I have a lund 1775 impact with my 2 riggers mounted on trax. I have been running a 8 lb ball as they suggest but the blowback is bad. My question has anyone run 10 lb weight with this kind of a setup. Have cannon manual riggers
mrhookup
We run 14lbers on tracks with Cannon electrics with no problems. Its a fiberglass boat but if the tracks are properly mounted I doubt you'd have any issues.
SeaCatMich
If the tracks are mounted well it shouldn't be a problem. Hardest part will be cranking the heavier weights up since you will probably put them deeper
sherman51
I agree with the others, as long as you have the tracks mounted with some type of backing like a backing plate or fender washers you should be ok.
iwannagofishin
If you are using stainless wire line or coarse braid, you could switch to 150 or 170 lb braid. It makes a huge difference on blowback over stainless wire. I knew one chap who has used 170 lb braid for over 10 yrs without any grief.
Line Dancin
10s or 12s shouldn't be an issue back in the early 80s my dad used 12s on manual riggers
