News Posted June 24, 2015 Share Posted June 24, 2015 Ontario Power Generation is proposing to build a 2,200-foot-deep geological repository in a limestone formation to hold all of the low and intermediate waste from Ontario's 20 nuclear reactors. The proposed site for the dump is in Kincardine, Ontario, less than a mile from Lake Huron and right next door to eight nuclear reactors operated by Bruce Nuclear.More...
