tgafish Posted June 5, 2015 Posted June 5, 2015 Fished 6-10Covered 70 fow to 150 fow 2 miles North. Surface temps were 54-56. Light South breeze with a 6 inch chop. SOG was 2.1-3.1 most time spent at 2.5.Only marked fish in the mid 80's Spent 8-10pm in there. 3 color150 32lb200 45lb300 32lbSlide diver out 75 to 150Riggers at 35 and 75 both with free slidersCaught one 6lb king on a free slider on the 35 rigger and a shaker king on the 3 color. Released the shaker. The 6lber's stomach was emptyMarked about 10 fish I'm guessing were lakers that would come off the bottom to look at the deep rigger and move back down. Marked a number of smaller marks in the mid twenties I'm guessing were shakers. A few good marks in the 40's and 50's down.2 boats we talked to at the launch were 1 for 1 on a shaker and 0-3.I'm done til July:rolleyes:
mrhookup Posted June 5, 2015 Posted June 5, 2015 Tough night out there, I think we talked to you at the take out, we were the 1-1 with a shaker.

rpoll Posted June 5, 2015 Posted June 5, 2015 Fished last night 6/4 as well out of Grandhaven. We started deeper set in at 150 trolled out to 210. Did not mark many fish and no bite.On the troll in we marked a fair amount of fish around 130. Took 2 kings in that depth.1 big king on a wire diver out 60 with a mountain dew spinny with a meat rig.other smaller king came on a downrigger down 40 ft with a blue / purple flounder pounder. Speed at ball was 2.5Covered a lot of water for 2 fish. but at least did not get skunked. and was a beautiful night to fish.
mrhookup Posted June 6, 2015 Posted June 6, 2015 good to know we weren't the only ones struggling out there . It seems the June slow down has begun...
