News Posted May 12, 2015 Share Posted May 12, 2015 Wisconsin Sea Grant is helping with efforts to develop habitat for piping plovers. A project is underway in Superior, Wis., to make a local beach more appealing to piping plovers for nesting. Plovers are an endangered shorebird that haven't nested in the area in almost 30 years.
