News Posted May 7, 2015 Share Posted May 7, 2015 The smelt population began showing up in Lake Superior in the 1930s, first seen in the eastern part of the lake near Whitefish Bay and then moving to the western edge; in the last century, smelt populations surged and ebbed.More...
