coralee
Thinking of S Haven tomorrow (Thur4-30) but can't find any reports. Anyone hear anything from there lately? or another W MI port?We did try Grand Haven today for perch and did get some nice ones (13") but could not find very many with only 20 for 3 guys. Fishrmac
Not a bad haul of fat yellow bellies. I personally haven't seen any great silver fish reports lately. I was going but my wife and kids had other plans

jdh
Always nice to catch a few perch! I suppose the water is still a bit cold?
coralee
water (and wind) was cold. Perch were scattered. 65-75 was the best for us. Minnows, meat (from the perch), and maggots all took a few. Behind the "hole" where it was 60-65' was where most of the boats were and there was a pack about 1/2 mile south in 50-60 that stayed there the entire time so they must have been on some. Floating Holiday
Did a quick solo shakedown of ps yesterday afternoon. Didn't hook up, fished about 2 hours. Most boats were in tight, water temp by the beach was 46, out to 40 fow temp was 44-42. Cleaner water passed 40 fow was 40 or less for temp. Talked to two guys at the launch, they had two small fish. danthebuilder
In SH. We've been catching steelhead/coho/browns/walleye on the pier(shh...). So there is fish out there. The charters have been going out to 50' of water and hammering the lake trout. There is a ton of fish out there.
danagnello
So I assume the bridge constructioty is complete and you can get under it from the city launch.
danthebuilder
The bridge is going up and down for the boats. The bridge is however not open for the cars. Sometimes they leave the bridge up for hours. So on your way to the launch don't be surprised if its open and its not anywhere near a half hour. coralee
Thanks for all the info but we cancelled this morning when it was already over 2' and building. Glad we did as it was 3' by 8a and 4' by 10a down there
