Trophy Specialist Posted April 19, 2015 Posted April 19, 2015 We had some big northeast winds blow us off the lake yesterday and today the abnormal, easterly winds continued to pound us and I had to cancel my Sunday charter too. The cold, windy weather is predicted to stick with us for a few more days, but it will have a silver lining though. The cold weather will cool the water and keep the bigger walleyes in the Au Gres area longer than normal allowing us to keep catching mostly larger fish further into the spring than normal.
