scooter0821 Posted April 14, 2015 Posted April 14, 2015 Does anyone now if you will be able to fish holland this weekend or will we have to go further south. I'm coming from the middle of the state. Thanks for the help
hear fishy fishy Posted April 14, 2015 Posted April 14, 2015 I has been open and closed depending on the wind direction. Not much ice was left out there the other day according to the satalite. If we have any kind of east wind you should be good just a few ice bergs floating around. Hopefully you can get a better report later in the week.
Dr Hook Posted April 15, 2015 Posted April 15, 2015 Yep, check out the web cam the day before and see what happens with the wind
Wasabi Posted April 15, 2015 Posted April 15, 2015 Saturday the Grandhaven and port sheldon channels were clear when holland was still packed in ice Pack ice was couple miles offshore and no bergs btwn the two ports.
cb223 Posted April 15, 2015 Posted April 15, 2015 I fished out of Holland yesterday 4/14. No ice in sight except on the piers. No fish either.
Salmon_slammin Posted April 15, 2015 Posted April 15, 2015 Somewhat icy. A guy had to get rescued out there last week. Fished saugatuck last week. Almost no ice and more fish. Lots of people catching fish on the pier we trolled and caught three. Sagatuck might be a safer and more productive option.
