kid coulson
Yea or nay? And what size would be best for your typical salmon rods(okuma/diawa). Any feedback is appreciated.

chandler
What is Cush it?Little foam thing that slips on the butt of your rod. At the bottom of it, it's forms into a ball shape then so the rod butt doesn't dig into your stomach. I've never used one though. Just seen them at the tackle shops. Dr Hook
Never used it (I have my own padding) but I have it on my boat. Women seem to like it

Great Gazoo
Buy the smaller sized one. I have one, but it's too big and uncomfortable.
kid coulson
Thanks for the info fellas. I might have to try one. I'm leaning towards the all species(medium size) one. Some videos say smear a small amount of grease or suntan lotion around the inside to help it slide on and off but I'm not to keen on that.

Building C's
I made my own rod cush. Bought a 3 pack of paint rollers, 2 foam pipe insulation tubes, and a roll of tarp duct tape which is water proof. They work awesome and it only costs $10 to make 3.<img src="http://www.greatlakesfisherman.com/gallery/files/3/3/4/2/planer_box.jpg" alt="Planer Board Storage" />
