KICK'R Posted March 9, 2015 Posted March 9, 2015 We started Saturday morning off with a trip to the salmon unlimited of Illinois show/swap meet to find some goodies for the upcoming season. We missed out on a good deal on some rods that we where thinking about purchasing but, we did manage to still find some things that we "needed". haha :shade: We talked to a few people at the show and heard of a few people getting some coho in one of our favorite spring spots so we decided to dig (literally) the boat out of storage for the season after the show. This turned out to be quite the challenge with all the snow piled up in front of the storage unit but with the help of a couple shovels and some salt and we managed to get it out. Then it was time to load it up put the battery in it and head to the lake. We got on the water around 3pm and fished until 5:30 we managed to land 3 coho casting a jig and squid the lake was still iced up around the harbor mouth so no trolling just yet. Well here are the first pictures of the season from TEAM KICK'R a great start to our season enjoy!
KICK'R Posted March 10, 2015 Author Posted March 10, 2015 Sweet, and you didn't even need ice in the cooler. THAT IS DEFIANTLY A BIG PLUS
