rbradley Posted March 8, 2015 Posted March 8, 2015 Anybody running the newer suffix lead? I need to re-spool all of my leadcore rods and it looks nice, supposed to sink 30% faster
Killin' It Posted March 8, 2015 Posted March 8, 2015 I have used it Rob, just like any other lead core.
Gnarf Posted March 8, 2015 Posted March 8, 2015 You talking about the stuff with the new sheating? It works great just cant tie it the same way because you cant feed line thru the sheating it just goes thru the side.
Yankee Troller Posted March 18, 2015 Posted March 18, 2015 The regular Suffix leadcore is good stuff, but boy are the colors bright. We used it for a few years. Last Season we switched to Stealth Core, and we are very pleased with that leadcore.
gmfishon Posted March 18, 2015 Posted March 18, 2015 saw this on another site with 30+ answers and most thought as above-same old and nothing special and not worth any extra $
Play Dough Posted March 19, 2015 Posted March 19, 2015 The 30% claim is suspect according to my test if the claim is it sinks more vs faster. I ran a Fish Hawk TD on the micro core and a regular core. There was little, if any difference in depth achieved between the two products. The micro core is thinner, easier to handle and takes up less reel space. It has some advantages in that light, otherwise no big deal.
