GLF Posted February 16, 2007 Posted February 16, 2007 I received these pictures in an email today. 7 wolves bring down a moose. The images were taken from a tree stand.
DIRTY DOG Posted February 16, 2007 Posted February 16, 2007 and tell me again why the mich. dnr want these back in michigan
GLF Posted February 16, 2007 Author Posted February 16, 2007 This is a moose. Imagine what they do to the whitetail population.
DIRTY DOG Posted February 17, 2007 Posted February 17, 2007 my point exactly, yotes do plenty of damage on the fawn crop as it is!
GLF Posted February 18, 2007 Author Posted February 18, 2007 I went up to the U.P. a few years ago predator hunting. Everyone we spoke with in the U.P., told us to shoot any wolves we see. NOBODY in the U.P. likes them.
big_fishman Posted February 18, 2007 Posted February 18, 2007 We used to have great hunting in the upper western part of WI, now the deer, those that are left, walk on pins and needles. Not uncommon to go and see more wolf tracks than deer.If this was taken from my tree stand, well, I always carry extra ammo.Just shoot the wolves in the stomach. They run off and well, not that I would advocate killing them, just what I heard.16 of them disappeared in WI this year. DNR has done a very poor job of managing the deer there not to mention the hunters cutting thier own throats by baiting.
