New Boat ?

Hi Guys,

I'm looking at getting a new boat and debating between a Starweld 2000 pro or a Lund 1800 Sports Angler. Does anyone have any feedback on either of thes boats ?

Agree on the welded hull, I have a 1997 19' Lowe since 1999 and love it, even has an aluminum deck

Thanks Frank. This was going to be my retirement present to myself but it's getting mighty expensive !!! Maybe the White Whale will see another year on da bay !!!

It's only money. I'm just hoping Priority1 hangs in there as long as I'm able to fish. It's always good to see you at the ramp or talk to you on the radio.

I have fished the Starweld 2000 a ton. It's an awesome boat. Handles beautifully, it's fast, and a downright walleye killing machine. They come with either an evinrude or a Mercury. I'm somewhat partial to the mercury. You get a lot of boat in the Starweld. They're typically less expensive than a Lund as well. Au Gres Marine will have a ton of info on them.
