Trina Rose Posted January 17, 2015 Posted January 17, 2015 Just wondering how most of you sharpen your hooks. Last few years I have been using a hand held hook file. It does a nice job, but takes a while to do my 500 plus plugs, spoons, flies, and meat rigs. guess what I'm asking is who has a faster quality way of doing this.
Dr Hook Posted January 17, 2015 Posted January 17, 2015 I do them by hand as well, but I generally just do them as I use 'em.
UBDSLO1 Posted January 17, 2015 Posted January 17, 2015 For me, I just usually replace the hook. When I do sharpen a hook, , its with a file.
Rascal Trophy Fishing Posted January 18, 2015 Posted January 18, 2015 Hook-hone-r II by Pointmatic is rechargeable for about $32. Great little machine that takes the work out of doing this on the boat during fishing and waves when you need it most.
