GLF Posted March 24, 2006 Posted March 24, 2006 Due to poor ice conditions fishing activity has been slow. Those anglers that are still heading out onto the ice at the head of the Bay are catching a mix of smelt, perch, herring and coho. A few rainbow trout have been taken in L’Anse out from the marina and at Perch Corner. Extreme caution should be used as ice conditions in the Bay range from fair to poor.
