Boltman Posted December 7, 2014 Posted December 7, 2014 That's a lot of views and Raymarine has them,Garmin has them , but it doesn't help you put fish in the boat. They certainly help you see what out there ,I'm using standard down view , no chirp technology , but thinking of going to CHIRP sure lets you see better in the water column . Boltman

mattmishler Posted December 8, 2014 Posted December 8, 2014 One of the charters has it on his hbird and never uses it, most of the time were fishing a sand flat. I don't see how it could do any good fishing deeper. I think it was designed for the bass guys.
