Help!!!

getting a new fish finder and was wondering what the difference is with 50/200 or 83/200 transducer. will be using for strictly salmon fishing the big lake.

I use the 200 setting on my lowrance hds8 . Works great!

I have the humminbird 899ci hd combo and I love it!

If I remember correctly I think the 83 gives you a 60 deg. cone, 45deg for the 50, and 20deg for the 200. I have the 83/200 on our boat and have been pretty happy with it, but either would work for you.

The number of beams and cone angle/diameter are going to be different by manufacturer and for each transducer.
