The workshop is on March 3 and runs from 8:30AM-3:45PM. The workshop includes the following:8:30: Registration, Coffee and Rolls9:00: Welcome by Chuck Pistis of Sea Grant9:15: The Appearance of the Bloody Red Shrimp in the Great Lakes by Steve Pothoven of NOAA and the GLERL10:00: 2006 Great Lakes Charter Data Results by Donna Wesander of the MDNR10:30: Break10:45: Factors Influencing Brown Trout and Coho Salmon Management in the Great Lakes by Dave Clapp of the MDNR11:30: Avian Botulism in the Great Lakes and it's Implications for the Fisheries by Brandon Schroeder of Sea Grant12:00: Lunch (Included)1:15: The Changing Lake Michigan Forage Base: Status and Trends by Chuck Madenjian of the USGS Great Lakes Science Center2:00: Introduction for Online Reporting for Charter Operations by Donna Wesander of the MDNR2:30: Will There be a Michigan Hunting and Fishing License Package? by Denny Grinold of the Michigan Hunting and Fishing License Task Force3:00: VHS (Viral Hemorrhagic Septicimia) in the Great Lakes: Update and Status by Gary Whelen of the MDNR3:45: AdjournThe cost is $14.00 by February 27 and $17.00 at the door.
