caznik Posted February 10, 2007 Posted February 10, 2007 Decided to go out ice fishing tonight at my dads place at the lake called Leach Lake in Barry county. It was kinda slow fishing tonight with my friend from work but we did happen to catch 25 nice gills together. We was fishing in 17' of water all the way down south from the dnr boat launch, just to the left of the channell. The bait we was using was wax worms, mousie's, and spike's. Nothing was really the hottest bait tonight. The hooks we was using was green and blue moon glows. Well looks like I'm getting up early tomarrow morning and go fishing with Severus, Sixshooter, Sarah C, and his daughter at Lower Lake. I will let you all know how it went in the morning. Good luck this weekend and hope you all have good luck fishing, Caznik

caznik Posted February 10, 2007 Author Posted February 10, 2007 hey rich how much ice was there, i was thinking of going there sunday morning There was enough ice to have a snowmobile on it. To me there looked to be at least a good 6". Do you usally fish that lake alot? If you do sometime we will have to go there together and fish. The bluegilss are much better size there if they are bitting good.Rich
