highpointdf Posted August 9, 2014 Posted August 9, 2014 Went out Friday around 7PM to try some night fishing. Ran out to 150 and set lines and headed mostly west. Pretty slow. Hit 200FOW around 9PM, 225 CU went white paddle and white fly, nice steelhead. Got that back in the water and the Dipsy diver went with a meat rig, 15LB king. Got that back in and the Meat rig on the downrigger went, another mid teens king. We thought this is going to be a fun night. Then it Slowed down. Next fish came at 11PM on a 150 CU blue anchovie, 12.5lb steelhead. The first 4 were all in 200-240. Then it really slowed down. Last fish was a laker on a diver with a meat rig in about 90FOW about 3AM. Great night on the lake, 5-5, had Fun lights worked great, would have liked the pace to keep up a bit, but they were all nice fish.
bach1252 Posted August 9, 2014 Posted August 9, 2014 I think you started setting up next to us. We were the 33' Tiara coming in from 200' when you were heading out. We were 3 for 5
highpointdf Posted August 9, 2014 Author Posted August 9, 2014 I believe you are correct. It layed down quite a bit when the wind changed. But other than that one hour it was less than impressive.
