highpointdf Posted August 4, 2014 Posted August 4, 2014 Lake was like glass, fog was not too bad, flies were not terrible, I wasn't sure I was in the right place after the last week or two. Set lines a little before 6am in 80fow. Basically kept her on a west troll looking for some fish. First one came at 150fow, frog pattern paddle with a green and white fly made By Charger, that set up has caught us more fish in the last two weeks than the rest combined!! Trolled the 180-250 area for the most part, nearly all the strikes on a west troll. Hits on blue Sarge, bloody Carmel, blue and purple DW, white paddle/green meat rig, white SD/green fly. Downrigger, 150 & 225CU, and wire dipsy diver. Ended 6-9, one steelhead and 5 kings, biggest was 15lbs. Nothing huge, but all decent. The paddles with the echips did quite well for us.
