barley35 Posted July 30, 2014 Posted July 30, 2014 I'll be out there Saturday night and Sunday. All I've been doing is washing spoons the times I'm out there.
highpointdf Posted July 31, 2014 Posted July 31, 2014 saw a report of steelhead in 200-270. The water is so cold you cannot see or catch fish.
fishon2020 Posted July 31, 2014 Author Posted July 31, 2014 Thanks for the feedback hopefully something changes soon this year is a bust
Gnarf Posted July 31, 2014 Posted July 31, 2014 According to the new bouy, south haven has warm water. Somewhere between there and gh should be fish.
danagnello Posted July 31, 2014 Posted July 31, 2014 Was wondering same thing about report for GH; we are heading out Sat, if it doesn't rain w/backup Sunday; wind and waves are supposed to be good all the way until next Thursday.we Were out at South Haven yesterday; there was 54 to 60 degree water from 60 to 130FOW but no fish; we got skunked for 1st time this year.Perchers didn't do well eitherSounds like South Haven buoy has been deployed; saw they had money in May but didn't think it would get deployed until next year.. I'll try and find the link.Thanks.Capt DanJackson

barley35 Posted July 31, 2014 Posted July 31, 2014 From the latest weather reports that I saw on the NWS. Its only a 30% chance of rain in GH Saturday, then clear sat night and sun. I have not fished GH much. Is any direction N or S of the river any better?
highpointdf Posted August 1, 2014 Posted August 1, 2014 There was nets to the north. Not sure if they are still there. We have done better south
