Boltman Posted July 22, 2014 Posted July 22, 2014 Ok now that I've got a set of 300s and a set of 150s , I put the 300s on the outside , but I set out the 150s and the TX-22s on the 150s want to go right under the line in the air of the 300s !!!!! It's nuts I tell you and those TX-22s want to jump waves like slalom skier . I am going to have to modify my TX-44s to keep their bows in the water though they are poppin wheelies. Advice anyone.
buster107 Posted July 22, 2014 Posted July 22, 2014 Your 150 should be on the outside of the 300!! The 300 will be closest to the boat!!
SeaCatMich Posted July 22, 2014 Posted July 22, 2014 Yup, 150's outside the 300's with the 150 rods higher and/or farther forward on the boat. That way the lines higher in the water column (150) will go over the top of the deeper ones (300) -- for both resetting lines and when a fish hits.
Boltman Posted July 22, 2014 Author Posted July 22, 2014 I knew it, just thought I was doing something wrong. I'll put the 150s on the outside as they should be . Also adding some S/S fasteners to the fronts to keep their bows in the water .
