Priority1 Posted July 16, 2014 Posted July 16, 2014 Not our best day on the Bay but we did manage to get 10. 60-61F out front of the pier heads in Au Gres. It was about the same one trip last week. Find some warmer water and find the fish. Who would have thought that we'd be searching for warm water the middle of July? A different year for sure.
Special K Posted July 16, 2014 Posted July 16, 2014 We didn't get on the water till 11 am. Fished till 3 pm without taking a bump. Fished the 24-28 fow by the nets. Found 67 degree water but no luck. Try again tomorrow.
sslopok Posted July 17, 2014 Posted July 17, 2014 Frank, I drove by your stable on the way to Harrisville today. Tomorrow is my 6 and 8 year old girls first big water trip. Hope Harrisville gives up a few of her treasures. I love it here!

I_Catch_Her Posted July 17, 2014 Posted July 17, 2014 Frank,It certainly is a strange year. A friend of mine told me he was getting 'eyes in 6 FOW off the State Park at 1:30 in the afternoon. I could hardly believe him.Last night, 7-16, my fiance and I went for a quick trip in the same area, caught 3 in two hours. Would have thought it was May.
