Dr Hook
Set up in 60 fow north of Spyglass in rough water and took first hit on way out in 80 fow on white/glow Spindoctor with Big Weenie Outhouse Special fly on braid dipsey set on 3 105 back. Got it close enough to the back of the boat to see it was a brown before it spit the hook. With the rough conditions, decided to troll with the waves from 90 -110 fow, wound up all the way down to Saugatuck with no action other than pounding from 2-3 foot waves. Finally took 2 rips on 7 color with blue dolphin (Thanks, Bob) but lost them before the fish were seen. Trolled into the waves in 110 -125 fow but no more takers so pulled lines at the sliders and came on in.Water temps seemed to be warmer further south and further out. Temps were 41 deg 60 feet down and 51 deg 30 feet down at the start. Down temp was up to 48 deg 60 down and 60 deg 30 down in 120 fow near Saugy. Came back down to 44 deg and 54 deg respectively when pulling lines. So finished 0 for 3 but still didn't have as bad of day as the runabout that ran a wake inside the channel and got stopped by the sheriff.
